Learning

I feel that almost any student would say they prefer a learning screen than a research paper. Anything online must be easier. However, I would think that they do not take into account how much work goes into the numerous posts, pages, and additional formating. If anything, a learning screen takes much more time. You cannot just sit down and write it in one go. It has to be tweaked and styled appropriately. Each post must be written sperately and constructed in a way that is understandable and also aesthetically pleasing. In a paper, no one is concerned about the design involved or the techniques of arrangement utilized.

However, despite all of these apparent cons, I do prefer the learning screen. Each seperate post allows for an individual seperate development of an idea. Instead of tailoring one idea to fit within an essay, the idea can flourish and be fully explored. I feel that this helps to better engage with a creative though process. This format makes a research paper seem constrictive. Instead of citing sources and squeezing quotes, you are rifiling through mass quantities of information and including whatever strikes your fancy. If you find a specific fractal relatable to a passage of Ulysses, it can be further explored in a post. Also by moving through a sequence of posts like a sequence of thought, the process aids in fulling exploring an idea. Instead of trying to explain it all at once it aids you in going step by step. Thorough is good.
